What Are Body Systems For Essential Oils?
Essential oils are a wonderful way to help ourselves maintain great health. On this website, you will find a multitude of ideas and essential oil recipes to try. We are only talking about healthy body systems on this website, and how to maintain good health. The oil recipes are broken down by body system categories. Our bodies are made up of ten different systems.
The Healthy Body Systems
Circulates blood around the body via the heart, arteries and veins, delivering oxygen and nutrients to organs and cells and carrying their waste products away.
Mechanical and chemical processes that provide nutrients via the mouth, esophagus, stomach and intestines.
Eliminates waste from the body.
Endocrine system/ Hormonal:
Provides chemical communications within the body using hormones.
Skin, hair, nails, sweat and other exocrine glands.
The system comprising a network of lymphatic vessels that carry a clear fluid called lymph.
Defends the body against foreign agents.
Enables the body to move using muscles.
Bones supporting the body and its organs.
Collects and processes information from the senses via nerves and the brain and tells the muscles to contract to cause physical actions.
The system where the kidneys filter blood.
The sex organs required for the production of offspring.
The lungs and the trachea that bring air into the body.
