doTERRA’s Copaiba oil comes from tropical South America. The essential oil is harvested from the resin of the copaiba tree. A copaiba tree can grow more than 100 feet tall! Isn’t that cool?
Copaiba oil has been used since the 16th century in various cultures. Especially in South America where it originates.

Yes! In fact, you SHOULD take Copaiba oil internally! Ingestion is one of the four ways you can use doTERRA Copaiba. It is safe for you to use internally, topically, and aromatically by inhaling or diffusing the oil.
When taken internally, Copaiba essential oil can help soothe anxious feelings, support the health of the cardiovascular, immune, digestive and respiratory systems, calm, soothe, and support the nervous system, and be used as a powerful antioxidant.
