doTERRA Holiday Joy oil is a blend that is available only for a limited time around Christmas.  You can typically purchase this beautiful blend starting in November or December.  It is then usually available for a limited time.  Once supplies are gone,  it won’t be back until next year.  I have to confess,  I stock up around the holidays when it is in stock!  It’s great because this usually coincides with other doTERRA special offers in December.

What Does Holiday Joy Oil Smell Like?

It literally smells like Christmas.  I can’t describe it any other way!  The fragrance brings that holiday feeling to the air for me,  which I associate with joy and happiness.  I actually wish doTERRA would carry Holiday Joy blend year around!  I absolutely love it.  A beautiful wintertime aroma of orange, cloves,  and fir.

How Do I Use doTERRA Holiday Joy Essential Oil Blend?

Holiday Joy blend is safe for aromatic and topical use.  Dilute this oil for topical use.  I suggest using the doTERRA unscented lotion that is perfectly formulated for this.  You can just use the normal amount of lotion and add 1-3 drops to the lotion.

Holiday Joy For Emotional Balance

Holiday Joy oil is helpful for emotional balance.  Through the year,  I love diffusing it.  My favorite time to diffuse this joyful blend of essential oils is while my husband is traveling.  His travel is always a huge adjustment for us.  I find that Holiday Joy in the air really helps me and the kids.  Who can feel grumpy with the aroma of Christmas wafting through the air? My doTERRA Holiday Joy essential oil blend works like a charm when we are feeling sad and lonely to lift our spirits until he is back home!

I was looking at the emotional benefits of some of the oils in the blend,  and that could be partly why it  helps so much –  We have some real powerhouse oils here!

The second way I love using Holiday blend is for immune support.  I also love On Guard,  which is very similar,  yet has a slightly different aroma.   Holiday Joy is a nice alternative just to mix it up and smell a different fragrance of essential oil with very similar benefits.
