What Is doTERRA Tea Tree Used For?
This versatile essential oil helps your body maintain respiratory health, immune health, mind & mood, personal care, and keep your home healthy by giving you alternative cleaning options!
Tea Tree Is Great For Families
The Tea Tree oil is amazing for kids. I hope that all of our young moms, or grandmothers, anyone that’s around kids, grabs a bottle of doTERRA Tea Tree.
When kids are first learning to walk, they get little bumps and bruises. We always use Tea Tree to soothe the skin, because it’s so gentle.
Maybe you have teenagers, and they have skin concerns. With oily skin, they can just put that on topically. You can put doTERRA Tea Tree right on any little skin imperfection. And you can get the benefits that way. So that’s excellent.
Keep Nails Healthy Naturally
Do you want to keep your nails healthy? Tea Tree is wonderful for your hands and feet. You can use the tea tree on your nails and keep them protected and healthy. And that’s fantastic for that.
Maintain Immune Health With Essential Oils
Because essential oils work naturally with your body, they are supportive to maintaining immune health. You can use your Tea Tree essential oil in one of these blends on a daily basis. Or simply grab them as needed.
Keep Ears Feeling Healthy
Now let’s talk about ears! You can use essential oils for keeping little (and big) ears feeling healthy.
We would do Lavender and Tea Tree and Basil for ear comfort with the kids. It was our go to, and it always helped them to stay feeling comfortable.
NOTE: Never put essential oils inside the ear. Use topically around the outside, and behind the ears.
Soothe Occasional Throat & Sinus Irritation
Tea Tree oil is really good if you have any kind of throat irritation, or sinus irritation. Take your Tea Tree roller bottle, and roll it right over the area of discomfort.
So say my sinuses were having some mild seasonal irritation, I would just kind of roll it along there. Or if your throat is having mild irritation, you can roll it along your throat.
Respiratory Support With Tea Tree Essential Oil
And it’s just great for so many things. If you need some respiratory support, you put some Breathe blend on your chest and then get a little extra layer of support with your Tea Tree rolling over the Breathe. You can also diffuse essential oils for respiratory support.
What’s The Difference Between Tea Tree & Melaleuca?
I want to mention to that Tea Tree is the same as Melaleuca. So if you’ve been around for a while, you might be just used to saying melaleuca it’s just been a name change, it’s the same exact oil in the bottle. I think in other markets, it was already called tea tree. And if someone was like googling, they wouldn’t be necessarily googling melaleuca it would be googling tea tree, which is just the common name. So they just made it the more common name so people knew, you know, if you got someone that’s new to oils, or new to doTERRA, they’re not like, Well, where’s your tea tree oil now it’s called tea tree. So anyway, side note on that.
Tea Tree Oil For Cleaning Your Home
Tea Tree is a wonderful essential oil choice for cleaning your home. I use it for hard to clean areas, such as my toilet. It’s safe, non-toxic, but still effective! You can also diffuse essential oils in your home. These blends will keep your areas smelling fresh and clean!
