Preservative free foods describes how I eat! In the course of my wellness journey, I’ve developed a way of eating that best suits my body. This may also be of benefit to you.
Food Is Individual
Food is truly individual. There is not a single right or wrong way. The biggest thing is to pay attention to YOUR body, and how you feel when you eat certain foods. Do you feel better not eating them? Let your body be your best guide. A food journal will be an extremely valuable tool as you embark upon the food journey. Your most important take away is that food does matter, and there is a high likelihood that you will need to examine your individual dietary concerns at some point. It is highly likely that tweaking your diet will also coincide with many, if not all, of your individual wellness goals. Yes, it’s THAT important.
Preservative Free Foods
The way that I eat is called Preservative Free. You will want to avoid synthetic food preservatives at all cost if you choose to try my way of eating. No synthetic dyes. Always organic for flours, meats, dairy. The easiest thing to do is only eat it if you recognize the ingredient and know for sure where the ingredient comes from. Google will be your best friend. Don’t recognize a big word (and we know there are many in processed foods!)? Go look it up. Look up that word plus “derived from”. You might be surprised at how many trigger foods you are consuming that are camouflaged under some big name.
