6 Reasons doTERRA Is NOT The Right Direct Sales Company For You

I feel it’s always important to be up front and honest.  Even when the topic is a bit surprising!  Have you ever wondered this?  “Is doTERRA the right direct sales company for me? Or is it…  NOT?”  Here’s where you may be surprised.  There are specific situations where doTERRA is NOT the right direct sales company for you!  Let’s chat and see what you think!  Is doTERRA the right direct sales company to go with?

I Want A Direct Sales Job Where I Don’t Have To Work

Do you want a direct sales job where you don’t have to do any work?  Honey – I’m not sure one of those exists.  It says “job” right in the description.  So if you want a job where you don’t have to work…  you actually want an oxymoron.  Cool word,  but – don’t be an oxymoron,  ‘kay?  Being successful at doTERRA requires actively working.  Working means showing up,  and putting in the time.  As with any business,  you get out of it exactly what you put into it.

But what if you are willing to work?  After all – that’s a pretty basic requirement,  right?!  If you are willing to work,  and you want a job that’s fulfilling and empowering,  doTERRA IS the right direct sales company for you.

I’m Not Excited About An Emotionally Rewarding Direct Sales Job

Here’s another reason why doTERRA WOULDN’T be a good fit for you.  If you don’t get excited about doing something that is emotionally rewarding.  Or if you don’t get your kicks out of making an incredible difference in someone’s life.

Because being a doTERRA representative IS emotionally rewarding.  If you are looking for a job that makes you excited to get out of bed in the morning then doTERRA is your ticket!  Do you want something that fills your heart with hope and passion?  And makes you happy because you are making a difference in the world for one person at a time?  We really should talk.  Because that’s exactly how being a doTERRA Wellness Advocate feels to me.  Like it’s the most rewarding job I’ve ever had.

I don’t like to be empowered,  I’d rather stay stuck

If you like getting stuck in the pity trap or if you don’t want to make changes to improve your life,  I can’t help.  To be honest,  not even the product is for you.  Let alone the doTERRA earnings opportunity.  Oils will change your life and empower you.  And so will a doTERRA business.  Working on my own doTERRA business has even helped me with overcoming the fear of success!  Being empowered is not about knowledge or skill,  it’s about having a growth and abundance mindset.  It’s about being willing to try something new.  Because just maybe that new thing will bring amazing things into your life.  In exactly the same way doTERRA brought amazing things into my own life!

I’m Not Coach-able Or Open To Learning New Things

Are you coach-able and open to learning?  I gladly show you the tools when you ask for help.  But I provide them in a way that you need to do the work.  That’s coaching.  Because then I know I’ve empowered you and taught you a valuable skill.  When you need help developing a skill,  I’m your biggest cheerleader.  My email is always open to my down line.  I am an active doTERRA upline leader with my essential oil team.  I will gladly break the skills down step by step until you accomplish them.  But there is one thing I can’t do.  I can’t do the work for you.  Instead,  I will empower you and teach you how to do it for yourself.

I Expect My Upline To Build My Direct Sales Business For Me

I’d love my upline to build my doTERRA business for me,  too!  But honey,  it is neither your upline’s right or obligation to make you a success in doTERRA.  That is solely your own right and privilege to do or not do.  But if you want to enroll with an upline that will teach you,  support you and GUIDE you to do your own work – let’s connect!  I have tons of ideas,  because I’m an ideas person.  You’ll find that I’m valuable at providing solutions when you run into speed bumps.  I bend over backwards for my doTERRA team,  and they love me for it.  I have a philosophy of meeting everyone where they are.   Whether they want to be a kit napper or a rock star,  or anywhere at all in between.  But I’m not going to build a doTERRA direct sales business for anyone,  because only you can build it for yourself.  In your own time and way.  No doTERRA business will look exactly the same,  but you can build your own dream while I cheer for you!

I Don’t Like Helping People,  At All,  Ever

doTERRA is all about helping people.  Providing them with both physical and financial empowerment.  If you don’t get joy from bringing that type of thing into someone’s life?  Then you aren’t human and I don’t want you on my team anyway.  No..  I’m kidding!  Well,  sort of…  Because who doesn’t feel good about helping someone else improve their life?

But if you love a phone call in the morning where someone slept for the first time all night without back discomfort because of the power of marjoram oil.  Or if you feel good knowing a nine year old little boy can now play football without being hindered by “head tension episodes”.  If you love seeing the long term gains of the person who was in bed and now can care for her family because of the power of doTERRA in her life.  And you want to keep an Evernote file (affiliate link) of all the lives you have changed and helped and made a profound and passionate DIFFERENCE in to get you through a rainy day..  you already know what I’m going to say – Let’s talk,  love.  Let’s change some lives,  one beautiful and powerful oil drop at a time.  If that isn’t an awesome feeling,  I don’t know what is.

Is doTERRA The Right Direct Sales Company For Me?

In conclusion,  I know there are so many companies out there,  and it’s easy to caught up asking yourself “Which direct sales company should I pick?”  You have dreams and plans,  and you want to pick the best direct sales company for yourself.  And you absolutely should choose the direct sales company that is right for you.
